جشنواره ماهیگیری در کره جنوبی

سرد ترین قسمت در کشور کره جنوبی شهر Hwacheon است. آنجا جایی است که در این وقت از سال قطر یخ رودخانه اش به حدود 35 سانتیمتر میرسد. جشنواره ماهیگیری در کره یکی از معدود جشنواره های زمستانی است که بیش از یک میلیون بازدید کننده دارد. در این جشنواره برنامه های زیادی اجرا میگردد که جالب ترین آنها ماهیگیری در یخ است. هر نفر از شرکت کنندگان به ترتیب از طریق یکی از 11 هزار سوراخی که در یخ ایجاد شده به ماهیگیری مشغول میشوند. هر روز در این جشن بیش از 32 تن ماهی در این رودخانه رها میشود تا مردم آنها را صید کنند.
